Resin Trap Filter For Mixed Bed

Resin trap filters are widely installed mixed bed ion exchange systems to purify water by removing ionic impurities. The resin trap is a filtration device that captures and prevents resin beads from escaping the ion exchange vessels and entering downstream processes.  It is installed after the mixed bed system, usually in the outlet pipework, and functions as a safety mechanism that traps the resin particles before they can cause any damage. Our resin trap filters consist of wedge wire profiles welded on support rods. It has continuous and uniform slots and large opening areas, which provide high filtration efficiency. It can filter water while capturing the resin beads. These traps are used in various water treatment applications, including re verse osmosis (RO) systems, demineralization plants, and condensate polishing units. The Role of Resin Trap Filters in Mixed Bed Systems Mixed bed ion exchange systems utilize cation and anion resins in a single vessel, where the resins wo...

Johnson Screen Resin Trap

The Johnson screen resin trap , also known as the wedge wire resin trap , comprises V-shaped wires or rods welded together at precise intervals. This construction forms a sturdy framework with uniform gaps, facilitating efficient filtration. In processes involving the use of resins, such as in water treatment, petrochemical industries, and certain chemical processes, resin loss can be a significant concern. Johnson Screen Resin Traps address this issue by acting as a protective barrier, preventing the escape of resin particles while allowing the passage of fluids. Our resin trap plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal filtration and preventing resin loss in various industrial processes.  We offer custom Johnson screen resin traps for water treatment. Contact us or email us at: admin@steellong.com . Key Advantages of our Johnson Screen Resin Traps 1. Precision Filtration: The V-shaped profile of the wires in Johnson screens ensures precise filtration, effectively capturing even the...

What Is A Resin Trap?

Resin traps , also known as resin trap filters, are devices used to capture resin particles that are carried out of the ion exchanger with water. YUBO resin trap strainers are manufactured using high-quality stainless steel Johnson screens . Our resin traps can be custom-designed in any type and size to suit specific applications. In this blog, we will explore the concept of wedge wire resin traps, their purpose, and their significance in different applications.  ▪ What is a resin trap? Resin traps act as a protective barrier, preventing resin particles or other solid contaminants from entering downstream equipment or causing blockages. Stainless steel resin traps are commonly used in water treatment plants, chemical processing facilities, and resin-based filtration systems. ▪What is the purpose of a resin trap? The primary purpose of a resin trap is to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the system it is installed in. By capturing resin particles or other solid contaminants,...
