 A sieve bend screen is a DSM screen designed for starch separation and dehydration applications. It is widely used in starch processing applications such as corn, potato, wheat, etc.

The sieve bend DSM starch screen is made of a wedge wire screen. It adopts a food-grade stainless steel structure, which is clean and hygienic, and can effectively separate starch.

Our DSM screens are cut and bent into wedge wire sieve bends. Common arcs are 45°, 60°, 120°, etc. The curved screen structure provides a higher flow rate, larger capacity, and better filtration performance.

As the material moves across the screen, the liquid and finer particles pass through the narrow slots, while the larger particles are retained and slide off the screen.
