Catalyst Bed Support Grid

The catalyst bed support grid is a wedge wire screen structure. We provide catalyst bed support grid custom services for the petrochemical and refining industry.

The support grid is a removable screen and self-supporting filtration structure.

Our catalyst bed support grid is manufactured with v shape profile wire. The slot is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. Benefits of catalyst bed support grids:

1. High strength, good supporting effect, strong bearing capacity. It can withstand pressure drop over the catalyst bed during the entire catalyst cycle.

2. With the largest opening area, the filter area is large. Allow enough gas and liquid to flow through.

3. Robust structure with a precise opening.

4. Self-cleaning function, not easy to block.

5. Easy to maintain and install. Can be used for installation through manholes.

The catalyst bed support grid can handle either random or structured packing materials. When using support grids with random packing, the grids need bars on them to attach to the support rings.

In applications with low or medium gas flow, packing support grids may also double as hold-down grids.

How to order the catalyst bed support grid?

When ordering, please specify:

1. Wedge Wire Screen Panel Shape

Round shape, fan shape

2. Slot Hole

3. Profile Wire

Triangle wire

4. Support Rod

Triangle wire, round rod, flat bar, wedge wire
