Bottom Header Pipe Reactor Screen for Phenol Production Process

Phenol is both a synthetic chemical and a natural substance. Used primarily in producing phenolic resins and in manufacturing nylon and other synthetic fibers. It is also used in slimicides (chemicals that kill bacteria and fungi in slimes), as a disinfectant and antiseptic.

We will use the wedge wire bottom header pipe reactor screen in the Phenol production process.

The bottom header pipe reactor screen is preferably constructed of stainless steel wedge wire material and is shaped in a cylinder so that it can be inserted between two concentric strainer walls.

A collector/distributor uses a header pipe or a hub to which several screen tubes are attached to enable excellent collection or distribution of a gas or liquid within a medium without wall effects or channels to maximize efficiency.

The wedge wire Bottom Header Pipe Reactor Screen filter is customized by using various diameters, densities, crimping styles, and configurations to optimize the reduction of bypassed debris and other material for each particular application.
